Athens
Working with Bliss connects you to a local guide who will give you a private tour showcasing his or her city. Exploring Athens can begin at the new Acropolis Museum, where nearly 4,000 artifacts are on display providing a remarkable insight into the everyday life of the ancient Greeks. There is also a magnificent view of the Acropolis from the museum's terrace. You can then head up to the top of the Acropolis hill via the gates of Propylaea, the monumental entrance to the Acropolis and an iconic example of classical antiquity, where you will discover the magnificence of the Parthenon and learn about the effect it has had on modern history.
Finally, you need to take a pleasant stroll through the narrow streets of Plaka, the city's historical neighborhood and visit to the Parliament Building in Syntagma Square, where you can watch the ceremonial changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. And I haven't even started talking about the Greek food.... (yum!!)

Planning your Greece vacation includes suggesting a hotel that suits your individual preferences and budget priorities. Key components when planning hotels are always location and access to a great neighborhood and restaurants. In Athens, there are many options that also offer rooftop pools and bars/restaurants with a view of the Acropolis.
Santorini
Santorini (officially Thira in Greek) is the beautiful island you often see in postcards. Although it is so amazing that it does get crowded in high season, good planning can result in a hotel with a fabulous pool and views, fun excursions and easy access to the main town - Fira - and the tip of the island - Oia - where every meal is an al fresco experience to remember.
A popular theory holds that the volcanic eruption that created Santorini is the source of the legend of Atlantis. You'll have to visit yourself to find out!

The island remains the home of a small, but flourishing, wine industry, based on the indigenous grape variety, Assyrtiko. The vines are extremely old and resistant to diseases, and the setting couldn't be better for wine enthusiasts who want to spend an afternoon doing some tasting.
Santorini allows a fantastic opportunity to get out on the water. The moment you step aboard a luxury catamaran, you will appreciate the exclusivity of a daytime or sunset cruise and enjoy one of the best vacation experiences Santorini has to offer. In the warm sunshine, you will set sail on the crystal clear blue waters of the Aegean Sea and sail past some of the famous Santorini beaches before experiencing the unique opportunity of sailing into the spectacular caldera. Your sailing trip begins from the charming Ammoudi port of Oia sailing close to the small islands of Thirassia, Aspronissi and Akrotiri, a Minoan Bronze Age settlement, before continuing to the Red Beach for swimming and snorkeling. You will then set sail for the White Beach where you will enjoy a delicious barbecue with beverages on board, before sailing into the caldera for the opportunity to swim and snorkel by the volcanic hot springs and have a mud bath.
Hotels are typically located in or around the two main towns on the island, Fira and Oia. Ever heard of a "cave hotel"? In Oia, they are plentiful. Let Bliss help suggest the perfect fit for you.
Mykonos
Think Mykonos is all about partying? Well, if you want a party, you can definitely find one after midnight and well into the early morning. However, Mykonos Town is about much more than parties - classic whitewashed buildings line the labyrinthine streets and each restaurant is better than the next. Iconic 16th-century windmills keep watch over the village from the hills above, and the fully functional Boni Mill is part of the Mykonos Agricultural Museum. It is a perfect place to wander, shop or dine either waterfront or in a lovely private garden.
Mykonos has one thing that Santorini does not - beautiful white sandy beaches. I often find it is a perfect complement to an itinerary where people want the caldera views in Fira but also would love to have a beach trip. Let us help find the hotel that fits your bucket list Greek vacation spot!
